About Us

We’re Joe and Kristi Moke, owners of Weichert, Realtors – The Moke Agency in Crown Point.

This project was born one day as we were sitting outside at our little cabin on the Tippecanoe River. Joe and I (Kristi) were brainstorming ways I could get involved in the business after many years primarily staying at home raising our four children. I had my real estate license but sales wasn’t really my thing and I had spent the last several years on a personal healing and parenting journey that had sparked a passion for all things health and wellness.

From teaching natural childbirth classes to homeschooling to healing with holistic medicine and helping start a natural foods co-op, my heart and passion lies in sharing the information and resources that have impacted our family’s health in such a positive way. We wondered, is there a way for me to contribute to our family-owned real estate company while honoring my calling to help others live a healthier life? We also wanted a way for our business to serve the community and represent our values in an ongoing and tangible way.

And so the idea for NWI Healthy Living came to be…

I realized I was going to need some help to tackle the project and include all the elements in our vision. Enter Evie Kevish, who found us in the most seemingly random way but which we very quickly realized was meant to be.

Evie shared our passion for everything local and healthy combined with an energy and skill set that was a perfect complement to ours.

We are thrilled to collaborate and create community with her and the many businesses and organizations in the directory that share our vison and purpose!
